Independent quality assessor RDB Star Rating recently sponsored the ‘Game Changer Award’ at the 2022 edition of the Sussex Chamber Business Awards.

Considered among the most prestigious business awards in the county, the Sussex Chamber Business Awards each year sees hundreds of exceptional companies put forward to compete for various accolades.

The winners in each of its eight categories - who are identified as the best in Sussex at what they do - then proceed to compete in the next round of the coveted British Chamber Business Awards.

The Game Changer Award sponsored by RDB Star Rating identifies an outstanding individual business leader who has successfully transformed an idea into a thriving, sustainable business by understanding their market’s key challenges, customers and the competitive landscape.

The award was handed to Ryan Heal, managing director of regional events company, Best of British Events. Specialising in corporate fundraising lunches and dinners, the business has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes since its establishment in 2009.

Sue Brand, managing director of RDB Star Rating, said: “RDB Star Rating was proud to sponsor the Game Changer Award at this year’s Sussex Chamber Business Awards and we would like to wish a huge congratulations to all the winners, and especially to Ryan and the Best of British Events team.

“All the award winners will now be put forward to the British Chambers Awards – considered one of the UK’s most prestigious business awards. We wish Ryan, the team and all the other award winners the very best of luck!”
