Amin Amiri is the founder and CEO of a2e Industries Limited, a long term "value investor" with a distinctive and contrarian approach in mid-market industrial and niche technology companies.

Career Overview

Amin is a highly accomplished corporate financier and a long term value investor who specialises in wealth creation by revitalising businesses often through “transforming” the strategic focus and the operational capability of companies. His focus is, the portfolio of investments in which he has a controlling interest includes manufacturing/industrial/technology companies with aggregate sales and EBITDA of circa £165m and £18.5m, respectively.

Amin was awarded an Honours Degree from The University of Manchester, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and completed an Executive MBA at the prestigious Harvard Business School. He then experienced at first hand the potency of the capital markets in New York, handling corporate finance advisory assignments in the US, South America, Moscow, Belgrade and London.

Upon his return to the UK in 1991, as head of Grant Thornton Corporate Finance in the North, Amin developed the team in Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds from small beginnings to national recognition and profitability. His innovation and flair in deal making, in the course of completing 176 transactions with a value of over £1.5 Billion, earned him a high profile in the UK.

He founded a2e Industries Limited in 2001, and with an initial capital of only £50K, was remarkably successful in acquiring controlling interests in circa 48 companies, generating spectacular returns.
