Technical Design Services Group [TDSG] has continued its longstanding and fruitful partnership with offsite manufacturer and contractor M-AR, committing to closely working with the firm moving forwards.
Over the previous few years, both firms have closely collaborated, and M-AR has identified the value in forging strong links with TDSG as one of its key specialist suppliers.
TDSG is active in providing M-AR with structural engineering and steel detailing services via subsidiaries D4S and TDS, respectively. This helps create an open, cohesive partnership which guarantees that projects run to schedule.
Providing structural engineering hand in hand with 3D Tekla design and detailing for structural steelwork, TDSG has worked with M-AR across multiple large-scale projects over the years. It provides solutions that help M-AR bolster key aspects such as project efficiency, effective communication and delivery outcomes.
Working in partnership rather than as two separate entities has opened a dialogue of effective and proactive communication between both businesses, which aids the smooth-running of M-AR’s projects. Sharing information freely benefits both parties as M-AR can provide TDSG with advance notice of its requirements for pipeline projects and TDSG in turn can flag up any potential issues before they arise, to allow time to resolve them or for an alternative solution to be found before the build programme gets underway. This level of communication ensures M-AR has a constant and reliable stream of information before a project goes to manufacture.
Within the partnership, the TDSG team is always on hand to advise and evaluate, via pre and post project reviews – acting as a trusted resource for M-AR to continually improve and innovate. This proactive and helpful approach enables M-AR to keep projects moving at a fast pace but also ensures that every project is delivered to the highest quality, meeting the client’s brief, budget and timescale.
