New Year brings new contract for Alba Power

The start of the New Year is already bringing about new opportunities for gas marine and power turbine specialists Alba Power, who have announced a recent contract award with one of their clients based in North America.

The contract will see Alba fully support the client with its RB211 SGT-A35 operations over the next five years.

Kevin Grant, Alba Power’s sales manager, said that after having already supported the client in question with inspections and parts, the new contract offered the opportunity to further develop a blossoming business relationship.

Grant said: “After initially supporting this client through inspections and parts, we appreciated the opportunity to build our relationship and extend our award-winning service and maintenance offering to the client over the past few years.

“We are now thrilled they have chosen Alba Power over all options to maintain, support and improve operations for their RB211 SGT-A35, Power Turbine, controls and ancillary equipment.”

Grant believes that the contract, along with recent improvements in Alba’s RB211 DLE capacity, has set the Alba Power and Sulzer partnership up well for an era of success in North America.

“The addition of local Sulzer facilities in North America and our recent announcement regarding enhancements in our RB211 DLE capabilities, has meant significant improvements to Alba’s already outstanding offering, responsiveness and service levels, ensuring Alba Power has unmatched abilities to support both this contract award and all clients in this region.”
