This morning (Thursday 23rd March), Leaders Council members gathered at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing leaders in the current economic climate.

Leaders Council chairman Lord Blunkett was on hand to listen to members’ concerns and, in some cases, offer advice. The event brought together individuals from a variety of sectors and specialisms.

This event, which takes place roughly once a month, is a regular gathering of Leaders Council members and provides an opportunity for members to catch up with each other and build on their flourishing relationships.

Attendance is exclusively for Leaders Council members. To be a member of the Leaders Council, individuals must hold a leadership position and must be committed to sharing their knowledge and experiences with others.

Lord Blunkett has had a distinguished career in British politics. He has served as a Member of Parliament for over twenty years and has held several senior cabinet positions, including Home Secretary, Education Secretary and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.

It is essential for leadership figures to share ideas with one another. By coming together and exchanging ideas, leaders can gain new perspectives, learn from one another's experiences, and build stronger networks. The Leaders Council provides a unique platform for leaders to connect and collaborate, and events like the online question and answer session and coffee morning provide opportunities for members to learn from one another and make valuable connections.

Lord Blunkett's appearances at these events provides members with an opportunity to hear from a prominent political figure and gain insights into the challenges of leadership. These events are part of the Leaders Council's ongoing commitment to fostering connections and collaborations among its members, and they demonstrate the importance of leaders sharing their ideas and experiences with one another.

Running an organisation can be the best job in the world but also one of the loneliest. By joining the Leaders Council, you will be among people who truly understand the challenges and opportunities you face on a regular basis.
