Career Overview
Power is a qualified secondary school teacher specialised in English. Prior to qualifying as a teacher, she worked as a teaching assistant and youth worker, accumulating experience working with young people inside and outside of educational settings. Having worked as a youth worker and volunteer for Girlguiding UK, she has worked with children from the age of five and gained insight about the importance of collaboration between organisations to guarantee the best support for children and young people.
Outside of the education sector, Power has also worked for many years in customer services and administration.
