Susan Jones is the headteacher at Phoenix Primary School, a Liverpool-based maintained primary with 30 place enhanced provision.
Career Overview
Susan first arrived at Phoenix in 2013, following a period in which the school was without a headteacher. This resulted in the school’s next Ofsted inspection, within just four weeks of Susan’s arrival, returning a “requires improvement” outcome.
Since that time, Susan’s leadership has taken the school on an upward trajectory, to the point where it attained a “good” outcome in its most recent inspection in 2016.
