Russell Evans is one of the partners at Primeast, a provider of leadership development training.

In his role as partner, Russell works with a team of roughly 100 core and associate consultants, facilitators and coaches based in 24 different countries. He has global experience working in a range of sectors including Oil & Gas, Automotive, Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Bioscience and Healthcare.

Career Overview

In his role as partner, Russell works with a team of roughly 100 core and associate consultants, facilitators and coaches based in 24 different countries. He has global experience working in a range of sectors including Oil & Gas, Automotive, Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Bioscience and Healthcare, and has previously held other senior roles at Primeast such as managing director, CEO in Primeast North America, and commercial director - the role he held when he first joined the company in 2006.

Russell’s background lies in blue chip customer centred businesses, where he acquired vital operational management experiences. He is also well-versed in internal consultancy and project management.

Before his venture into business, Russell also served with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve as a commissioned officer in its Training Branch. He was on the force for 12 years and was focused on leading adventurous training activities which would help drive team development.

In February 2022, Russell appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.

Education

Russell completed a Royal Air Force Scholarship at Bournemouth Flying School and attended the Royal Air Force College based at Cranwell.

Since qualifying as a pilot, Russell has also completed an MSc in Management and Leadership at the University of South Wales, and undertaken various courses covering the energy sector and Deep Learning through Transformative Pedagogy with the University of Texas, Austin and The University of Queensland respectively.

Russell is also a chartered fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Chartered Management Institute.
