Career Overview

Pat Smith established HCH in partnership with Karen Jefferson in 2010. Having worked in care since leaving school. Prior to HCH, she had spent 11 years working in the care sector with One-to-One Homecare UK Ltd as a liaison co-ordinator.

Under Smith and Jefferson’s tenure, HCH has boasted an exceptional staff retention rate which is critical to its successful provision of care, as well as providing individualised care packages that best fit the needs of service users. 

By her own admission, Smith’s leadership style is one of careful supervision of staff and she strives to ensure that the quality of care delivered is in keeping with the high standards set by the company.

Education

Pat Smith attended Denes High School [now Ormiston Denes Academy] in Lowestoft, Suffolk between 1972 and 1977, completing a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care Management and Leadership.
