Mike Newell is the Managing Director of Leadgen UK, a company which helps businesses improve their performance by providing qualified appointments for Hosting, Telecoms, Mobile, Unified Communications, IT and Connectivity providers.
Newell is formerly a sales director at ISUMO, a company which designs, builds and supports complex network infrastructures that deliver the security, scalability, and availability that clients and their users demand.
Newell's involvement with Leadgen, his own business venture, first began in 2017. Since its inception, the company has provided qualified leads and appointment setting, removing the hard work from lead generation and allowing the sales teams of companies to focus more squarely on closing qualified opportunities.
Newell took up his role with ISUMO in mid-2020 and departed in 2021. From September 2019 to mid-2020, Newell also worked as business development manager of Wavenet, one of the UK’s market leaders in unified communications and business telephony solutions.
Earlier in his career, Newell spent one year as a business development director for Troublefree-it.
Before taking on senior roles within businesses, Newell accumulated consultancy experience for a number of firms, including Unify Communications, AlwaysOn, IP Solutions, Easynet Group, Viatel, Cable and Wireless, Internet Network Services, Easynet and BT.
In October 2020, Newell appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.
