Kieron McNab is the managing director of Outspoken Training, a provider of innovative cycle training along with instructor qualifications which aims to enthuse more people to cycle by giving them the skills and confidence to ride bikes.

Career Overview

Kieron has been with Outspoken Training since 2012, joining initially as a training co-ordinator before ascending the corporate ladder to become managing director.

Kieron has an established background in bikeability instructing and coaching, having worked for the Lincolnshire South East School Sports Partnership in this area and spending two years as a director at The Association of Bikeability Schemes. 

Kieron also has experience running and managing leisure facilities, having worked for several months at SHS Fitness and Leisure Centre in Spalding, Lincolnshire. He has also worked as a trainee primary school teacher in the past through the Graduate Teacher Programme, giving him even more in-depth experience of coaching and teaching youngsters.

In May 2022, Kieron appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.

Education

Kieron attended Sheffield Hallam University, where he studied Sport Development with Coaching. His degree modules focused on the structure and policies surrounding sport development as well as practical experience of coaching children.
