Manea Kella

Adrian Manea is a RIBA chartered architect and director & co-founder of London-based architects’ practice, Manea Kella.

Career Overview

Passionate about architecture and urban design, Manea brings a personalised approach to the field which varies in scale from single residences through to extending whole cities. In his earlier career, he led a key redevelopment project at Casa Popeea in Romania, transforming the listed building into a boutique hotel. He has also worked at high-profile architects’ practices in the UK in the past, such as Gensler and Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. 

In January 2017, Manea established the Manea Kella practice in partnership with Elena Kella, and remains a director of the practice today.

Education

Adrian is an alumnus of the University of Manchester and University of Westminster. At Manchester, he undertook his BA Hons in RIBA Part I Architecture, before completing both his Master of Architecture degree (RIBA Part II) and Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice & Management (RIBA Part III) at Westminster.
