The IHEEM Healthcare Estates Conference 2021 is a week-long event, running digitally from October 18 to October 22. It is the largest annual event for healthcare estates, engineers and FM professionals, enabling the public and private health sector to come together, network and discuss the latest innovations in major areas of the healthcare estate.
The opening day of the 2021 conference will feature a keynote address from Emma-Jane Houghton, commercial director of the New Hospital Programme, as part of an entire day dedicated to discussing the hospitals of the future, including their delivery strategy, design and construction, and future governance.
SI Sealy, based in Stockport, Cheshire, is one of the northwest’s largest specialist providers of building services, engineering and complex building and energy modelling services within both the primary and acute healthcare estates. The company works directly for its clients, or alongside an architect, structural engineer and project manager, to develop a building’s thermal envelope and services design to be as sustainable and energy efficient as possible, thus reducing the carbon footprint.
SI Sealy will exhibit at IHEEM Healthcare Estates 2021 for two days, spanning October 19 and 20. The discussion agenda for those two days include the infrastructure and future resilience of the healthcare estate - including the carbon requirements for the hospitals of tomorrow - as well as the future of science and innovation within the industry.
SI Sealy director, David Stafford, said: “At SI Sealy we offer in-house expertise in zero carbon and sustainable designs, decarbonisation and comfort and wellness compliance utilising digital engineering design.
“At this year’s conference, our team will be on hand to assist with any queries and to discuss the extensive range of services that we offer, together with our healthcare experience gained through delivering major healthcare projects for over 70 years.”
