United Cast Bar receives Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore approval
Europe’s largest producer of continuously cast iron bar has achieved Burea Veritas certification across all material and product groups including continuous cast iron and static formed ingot castings.
United Cast Bar worked closely with Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification, in order to receive the certification.
This follows on from the Lloyd’s Register’s Marine approval for the supply of continuous cast iron that United Cast Bar achieved in September 2017.
Responding to the new certification, the organisation, which is led in the UK by James Brand, said ‘we are looking forward to developing our business further in international markets and industries, in particular within the marine industry and look forward to receiving your enquiries.’
Total Project Integration provide 3D virtual tour of successful development
Jane Hewitt’s Total Project Integration have provided interested parties with a 3D virtual tour of one of their most successful developments.
The Dartford Valley RFC development, which was driven by Dartford Borough Council was completed at the end of 2019. It was a Greenfield sit overlooking the Dartford Crossing and it now provides the rugby club with a state of the art facility to play their hime games. The development also allows local schools to utilise the 3G rugby pitch, to provide their pupils with the facilities to play rugby and other sport activities.
ORBS show their Green Heart
ORBS have shone a light on one of their most interesting and impressive projects. The ‘Green Heart’ development on the University of Birmingham’s campus provides environmentally-friendly lighting and power solutions.
The innovations include zoned lighting with timber columns, pavements that produces power when walked on and high specification CCTV.
