West London-based launderer, dry cleaner and valet service, Chelsea Green Valet, was honoured as the best ‘Counter Customer Service’ provider in the country at the 2022 Laundry and Drycleaning Awards [LADAs].
Chelsea Green Valet’s senior leadership team, including director Billie Tossoun, accepted the award at the 2022 Laundry and Drycleaning Awards evening at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey.
Over 320 guests attended the 2022 showpiece, where the winners of each of the 16 LADA prizes up for grabs were revealed.
First launched in 2015, the LADAs are intended to recognise and celebrate the very best in the laundry and drycleaning industry and have become the standout date in the industry calendar. Indeed, it attracts businesses and individuals from across the sector, from large suppliers to small family-run enterprises.
The 2022 awards showpiece was, according to Laundry & Cleaning Today’s coverage, the biggest and best LADAs yet, featuring a champagne reception and dinner. The evening was hosted by Mark Jones, with entertainment provided by singer Emily Reed, magician Will Gray and comedian Mark Walker.
Proceeds from the evening were donated to the awards’ partner charity, Pancreatic Cancer UK, with the evening’s raffle draw raising over £3,000.
The awards organiser, Mark Gleed, commented: “We were were delighted with the success of the LADAs 2022. It was an incredible turnout and a great atmosphere as we celebrated the people and the talent we have in the industry.
“Well done to all our award winners! We wish we could give an award to every finalist! We have a fantastic team of judges who dedicate their time to pour over the award entries and choose the worthy winners. Our thanks to our judges for their help and support again this year.
