Career Overview
Ellis has been with The Coalfield Regeneration Trust since its inception in 1999, when he initially served as finance and resources director.
He was appointed chief executive in November 2010.
The organisation exists to help coalfield-based communities who have been set back by the closure of coal mines and pits since the 1970s.
In June 2020, Ellis appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the role it has played in his career to date.
