Nick Beresford is the CEO and founder of Enertor, a developer of premium insole technology that helps enhance performance and prevent injury.

Enertor technology is today used by a multitude of professional athletes, from Premier League footballers to Olympic champions, including Usain Bolt. It is also used for injury prevention in the British and US Armed Forces.

Career Overview

After spending over 18 years working in multiple senior roles for multinational consumer goods corporation Procter & Gamble, Beresford launched the Enertor venture in 2016 and has remained at the helm since. Enertor technology is today used by a multitude of professional athletes, from Premier League footballers to Olympic champions, including Usain Bolt. It is also used for injury prevention in the British and US Armed Forces.

In late 2018, Beresford also founded The Running World Cup competition, open to all rather than solely elite athletes. He has ambitions to grow it into the largest mass participation sporting event in the world.

In February 2022, Beresford appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.

Education

Beresford is an alumnus of Durham University, where he attained a degree in Engineering and Manufacturing.
