Horizon International Cargo has been included in the The Business Magazine's prestigious 'Thames Valley Top 250' listing, for a third consecutive year.

Slough-based Horizon, which employs 96 people, was named among the top 100 of the 250-firm list after the freight forwarder accumulated £45.7 million in sales for the year ending December 31, 2018.

The TV250 list is comprised of the fastest growing companies in the region, which is now rife with leading IT, telecoms, and services firms.

It is the eleventh year of the TV250 - sponsored by Gateley Legal, BDO, Henley Business School, Lloyds Bank and Vail Williams - and the combined sales of all firms included in the 2020 list total well over £25 billion, and they employ over 100,000 people combined.

In a press release following the publication of the 2020 list, Horizon said that its inclusion “underlines our commitment to steady and consistent growth and investment and reflects our continued success – a testament to our teams, who provide the highest levels of service to our loyal clients.”

For many companies, their position in the TV250 reflects the pre-Covid period, with many year-ends for sales coming in 2018 and 2019 before the pandemic struck. It remains to be seen, therefore, how many of those included will fare in the 2021 reckoning.
