As Hardy Signs celebrated a decade of doing business at its current Hardy Place premises, Conservative MP for Burton-upon-Trent and Uttoxeter, Kate Griffiths, paid the company a visit to mark the milestone.

Hardy Place, the current base for signage experts Hardy Signs, has been the company’s home since July 2011.

Managing Director Nik Hardy and his firm chose to bed down in what is known as one of Staffordshire’s key manufacturing bases after several years trading at locations on nearby Hawkins Lane, Wharf Road and Hunter Street since starting up in 1993.

From 1993 to now, the company has produced and installed more than 1,000,000 signs.

Nik Hardy commented: “We are delighted to host Kate Griffiths MP at Hardy Place today, helping us celebrate ten years in this building.

“Although we are now a truly nationwide company, our roots will always be here in Burton.”

Kate Griffiths MP [pictured] paid tribute to the fantastic efforts of Hardy Signs over the years, hailing its commitments to investing in the latest technology and in creating opportunities for its employees.

She said: “It is fantastic to visit Hardy Signs this morning as Nik and his team celebrate ten years of business at Hardy Place. Hardy Signs has an outstanding reputation as a leading signage company in the UK and has won many awards over the years including Manufacture of the Year in 2020 at the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

“Their numerous signage products cover a wide variety of business sectors, including some of our best known and loved brands. The company invests not only in technology but also in its people and it is very much at the heart of our community here in Burton.”
