FuseMetrix continues its support for the Leisure Industry

FuseMetrix has advised leisure companies across the UK to make use of secure online wavers in order to reduce the risk of liability and to help protect customers. This is the latest in several recent examples of the business management software group displaying its support for the sector.

Based in Milton Keynes, FuseMetrix specialises in business management software for a number of sectors including insurance and manufacturing (with a photograph from one of their more unusual clients, Zip World, shown above).

They allow businesses to manage accounts, project management, manufacturing, stock management, logistics, CRM, emails, and much more via one easy-to-use piece of software.

And, as leisure businesses have begun to re-open their doors after the unprecedented lockdown, FuseMetrix has been on hand to offer their support.

They began by publishing a comprehensive plan for re-opening, with the following five key points:

1.Encourage Repeat Business

2.Boost Online Sales

3.Control the number of customers attending

4.Offer Peak and off-peak prices

5.Plan Marketing communications

More recently, they have encouraged the use of secure online wavers. Writing on their website, FuseMetrix argues that using wavers ‘helps to reduce the risk of liability within your business, especially for some of our Leisure customers who facilitate risk-related activities.’

The online wavers, as well as having the normal benefits of being easy to store securely, are of particular benefit right now.

‘Paper documents are no longer considered a hygienic way of operating during these times, when social distancing and minimal queuing is a must. It is far better for businesses to prevent lots of people in reception areas at once, all touching pens and prevent people slipping away without signing. A better, less chaotic way of operating is to encourage customers to sign digital waivers, which can be set-up via your FuseMetrix Leisure Management System.’

The business management specialists also make the point that online wavers could open up an additional marketing avenue:

‘Aside from using waivers for health & safety, you can use waivers for your Marketing to boost your business and encourage customers to return. Your waivers can collect the following information; name, address, email address, date of birth and telephone number, all of which is vital information when marketing an activity-based business.’

Finally, in keeping with the five-point plan mentioned above, they argue that switching from paper to digital is a great way to increase your chances of retaining businesses.

‘Repeat business is the fastest way to grow your business without spending a lot, so by switching from pen and paper forms to a digital version you can open the possibility of gathering valuable data on your customers. An added extra is that your business will no longer have to store piles of paper with personal data on and your business can be green and reduce carbon emissions.’
