Recro Consulting has been shortlisted in four categories at the 2021 ERSA Employability Awards.

Now in their ninth year, the ERSA Employability Awards recognise best practice in the employment support sector and demonstrate the hard work and dedication of those working to improve the lives of jobseekers, communities, and the wider workforce.

The theme for the 2021 ERSA awards is based on ‘The Covid Employability Challenge’ and the shortlist across all 11 different award categories includes a wide variety of organisations and individuals who have delivered exceptional service and support to disadvantaged groups during the health crisis.

Employability and recruitment solutions consultancy and training firm Recro has seen members of its team named among the finalists in the Frontline Manager of the Year [Gaynor Wheeler], Frontline Advisor of the Year [Steve Ricketts] and Significant Achiever of the Year [Gabriel] categories, while the entire firm has been shortlisted for the Team of the Year - Hidden Heroes award.

Managing Director John McDonough commented: “We are so proud to be shortlisted alongside others in the employment and support sector who are being celebrated for the extraordinary work they do to improve the lives of jobseekers, communities, and the wider workforce. This year the ERSA Employability Awards received over 200 entries, and it is testament to the incredible work of our team here at Recro that we are among the finalists.

“Congratulations to all the other finalists, and we wish everyone the very best of luck.”

Elizabeth Taylor, ERSA CEO said: “We have been overwhelmed by the response to the ERSA Employability Awards and the truly inspiring work of all those who have gone above and beyond in what has been an incredibly challenging year.

“Thank you to all those who entered, who should be incredibly proud of their achievements, and a huge well done to all those who have made the shortlist. We can’t wait for the winners to be revealed at the end of November.”

The winners at this year’s ERSA Employability Awards will be revealed on November 25 on a live stream with viewing parties across the UK.

The judging panel for this year's awards includes Associate Professor Jo Ingold from the Department of Management at Deakin University; Sam Windett, Deputy Director at the Learning and Work Institute; Jagdeep Soor, Programme Manager at the Centre for Ageing Better and Gill Holmes, Director of Contract Management and Partner Delivery at the government Department for Work and Pensions [DWP].
