In a BBC video link interview, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge described the lockdown as "stressful" and said it was important to be mindful of your mental health.
Prince William then went on to discuss how he coped when his father, the Prince of Wales, was diagnosed, and said that people should "know where to go to get the support they might need".
Google have revealed that more than 18 million coronavirus-related scam emails have been blocked on their email service, Gmail, every day.
And in China, foreign ministry officials have updated coronavirus death statistics following an "official review", and figures in Wuhan, where the virus emerged, have increased by 1,290 to 3,869 -- more than a 50 per cent spike.
Just hours earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron joined Donald Trump as the latest world leader to raise concerns over Chinese transparency regarding the virus outbreak.
"There are clearly things that have happened that we don't know about," he said.
His comments followed Mr Trump's statement that the Chinese death toll "[seemed] to be a little bit on the light side".
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that there has "never been any concealment" and that the country would not allow it.
These comments follow the news that the Chinese economy -- the second biggest in the world -- shrank by 6.8 per cent in the first quarter of 2020.
And in the US, Mr Trump stated in yesterday's daily briefing that the "next front" in the battle against coronavirus was "opening up America again".
He set out guidelines for three phases by which states could ease their lockdown, although promised that governors would be making all executive decisions themselves. Reception to the plans has been described as "mixed" by the BBC.
