Becketts Southsea scoops sixth award in two years

Portsmouth-based hotel and restaurant Becketts Southsea has won its sixth award in just two years, after being named Hampshire’s Hospitality Enterprise of the Year at the SME News Southern Enterprise Awards 2021.

The news comes mere days after the business had been named Hampshire’s Venue of the Year 2021 in this year's LUXlife Magazine Customer Service Excellence Awards.

Judged purely on merit, the Southern Enterprise Awards are hosted by SME News to recognise the hardworking individuals and firms hailing from England’s dynamic south.

The 2021 edition is the fourth consecutive year of these awards, and this time around it serves as a means of crediting the immense effort of those who have successfully navigated their way through an unprecedented year of upheaval for business through the coronavirus pandemic.

After adding yet another string to the Becketts bow, general manager Terence Carvalho said: “To have achieved six awards in just two short years is testament to the hard work and effort of everybody here at Becketts.

“Becketts really is smashing it and I couldn’t be prouder of how we're leading the way in hospitality.”
