Tim Kendall is the Managing Director of Media Access Solutions [MAS] Ltd, a UK rental specialist for lifting equipment working for the TV & Film Industry and operating from locations in Leighton Buzzard, Pinewood Studios and Birmingham.

Career Overview

Kendall has been Managing Director at MAS Ltd since 2014, overseeing a business that has supplied lifting equipment to over 1,000 productions including TV commercials, feature films, set construction studio builds, SFX, the sports industry, feature films both low budget and blockbuster, the music industry, music events and TV dramas. He has also enjoyed significant experience through the business of working at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Pinewood Studios, 3 Mills, Black Island, Longcross, Elstree, BBC Elstree, ITV Studios London, Bristol Bottleyard Studios and Media City in Manchester.

Kendall is well-versed in management, having worked in various managerial roles during his career for names such as Hewden, Lavendon Group PLC [the UK market leader for Powered Access Equipment], Kharafi International in Kuwait, AFI-Uplift Ltd [which at the time was the largest  privately owned powered access company in the UK], and JMS Plant Hire based at Pinewood Studios. 

In 2012, Kendall co-founded and directed sales for Safe Access Solutions [SAS] Ltd, a supplier of hire equipment such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers, to local and UK wide customers within the TV & Film and construction industries.

In 2019, Kendall spent a period of seven months as a director of National League football club, Solihull Moors. 

Education

Kendall graduated the University of Bolton in 2001 with a BSc in Leisure Management with Sports Science. He also holds a Kingshurst Diploma and a GNVQ in Leisure and Tourism.
