Richard Brash is the managing director of Brash Solutions, an IT company that provides consultancy, systems review, system specification, supply, installation, training, remote assistance, continued support and software development services.
Originally from a legal background, Richard studied Law at City University’s Cass Business School and the College of Law, spending much of the first year of his career as a legal editor at Sweet & Maxwell . He then moved on to Chelsea Interiors/Tsunami UK Ltd, where he spent two-and-a-half years as commercial and finance manager.
It was in 2001 when Richard established his own business, Brash Solutions, and went into IT consultancy. The firm today works with commercial organisations in North London and the northern home counties. Based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, Brash Solutions assists businesses in developing systems to improve profitability and productivity, creating computer hardware and software systems tailored to their individual requirements.
In August 2021, Richard appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.
