What influences Paul’s drive, is his commitment to try and improve the dignity and care of the deceased, improve the experience for family members and, substantially change the working environment for the Pathologist and Mortuary Staff, this being a major challenge in many parts of the world.

There have been many over the years, notable with 2007-2014 being up there in terms of the biggest challenge, only matched by the pace which the company and its staff had to adapt and grow to survive. 

While challenges came and went, the latest, being one we have all had to face, COVID-19.

From a commercial point of view, Paul has had the same issues as many other business owners, trying to manage the day to day operations while aiding the UK’s response effort to the pandemic.  Operations had to significantly increase during lockdown, working to unprecedented levels, while trying to socially distance and protect LEEC staff, facilitating temporary pathology facilities for the UK during the crisis.  

Following his appointment as Managing Director in 2007, Paul undertook a major restructuring of both the staff and offices/factory, while at the same time, commencing the exercise of appointing Distributors/Partners on a Worldwide basis. 

Leec is now recognised as the world leading designers, manufacturers and installers within its specialist fields, while Paul lectures throughout the world on Mortuary Design, Forensic Mortuaries and Disaster Facilities.
