Owen Gleadall is the Online Ticketing & Admissions Solutions Specialist of Merlinsoft, an Award Winning firm for admission and ticketing solutions.

Owen Gleadall joined Merlinsoft in 2009, having previously served as President and Non-Executive Director of the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce & Industry. In addition to his role with Merlinsoft, Gleadall also serves as Chair of Governors of the Barnsley Academy.

Owen Gleadall is the founding director of Merlinsoft, an award-winning firm specialised in providing admission and ticketing solutions.

Career Overview

Owen Gleadall founded and launched Merlinsoft in 1982 and has been a specialist in online ticketing & admissions solutions for decades. He oversees Merlinsoft's activities today in supplying award-winning, market-leading admission and ticketing solutions for visitor attractions and events.

Since launching his own business, Owen has served as President and Non-Executive Director of the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce & Industry. In addition to his role with Merlinsoft, Gleadall also serves as Chair of Governors of the Barnsley Academy. 

During the Covid-19 global pandemic, Owen led Merlinsoft as it developed new systems for use during lockdown, growing the company's turnover by more than 300 per cent. 

In June 2021, Owen Gleadall appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the role it has played in his career to date.
