Career Overview

Muhammad founded Aqovia in 2008 and is currently focused on several applied innovation, social responsibility, and new infrastructure ventures including banking and new energy infrastructure plants free of carbon emissions. Since 2015, Muhammad has worked as a managing partner for Claronex, an investment and new venture development group. In 2019, he founded NeuerEnergy, a sustainability focused technology and infrastructure investment company.

Before this, Muhammad had an extensive career in North America, Britain, and Europe in banking and telecommunications. Aquovia today works with leading national brands across the United Kingdom.

In February 2020 Muhammad appeared on an episode of the Leaders Council podcast where he discussed the importance of leadership and the qualities it requires in running a successful business.

Education

Muhammad is a graduate of Ottawa University in Canada, where he completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Information Systems Management.

Banking and telecoms career

From 1994 to 1998, Muhammad worked at Kansas-based People's Bank in its IT department. He then moved on to Sprint, a division of T-Mobile, where he worked as a network planner and engineer before being appointed head of Sprint Network Engineering for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2001. He left in 2004, to spend three years with Technology, Media and Telecom converged practice Muir. Departing in 2007, he became CEO of Aqovia the following year.
