Career Overview

Collis Primary School was first founded in 1865 and to date is an Outstanding Ofsted provider. It is the third school within which experienced headteacher Kevin Hogston has had a senior role, having had successful stints as deputy head of Latchmere School in Kingston-upon-Thames for just over three years and the head of Sheringdale Primary School in Southfields, for just shy of four-and-a-half years.

Hogston took over as head of Collis Primary School in 2015 and retains the role to date. In his spare time, he co-authored Jumpstart Wellbeing, a games and activities book for children aged 7-14, with Steve Bowkett.

In October 2020, Hogston appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.
