Career Overview

Prior to founding AG Instruments in 2009, Dr Hany Agaiby was a Senior Design Engineer for gas analysis products at Geotech UK, where he worked for almost 11 years. While there, he was responsible for all aspects of electronics and sensors design, as well as data processing, compensation and calibration algorithms for all the company’s gas analyser products.

Dr Agaiby founded the firm after taking a voluntary redundancy package in the same year; he was then chosen by former MP for Warwick and Leamington, Chris White, to represent the constituency at a national exhibition named “Made by Britain”.

In February 2020, Dr Hany Agaiby appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the role it has played in his career to date.
