Career Overview
David has over 30 years experience in manufacturing, particularly within the automotive and aerospace sectors. His experience includes Chair of TAE Power Solutions ( the worlds leading technology ecosystem that enables the most versatile, powerful, efficient and reliable Electric Vehicles, ePowertrains, Ultrafast Charging systems for home and commercial use and Energy Storage Systems).
He Chairs a number of companies including Evtec Group (the UK's largest employer of disabled people), Tevva Trucks ( the UK's only EV delivery vehicle ), Evera Recruitment Ltd ( Europe's leading recruitment company in the EV and battery sector ) and Evtec Energy Solutions Ltd ( a green renewables provider of energy systems ).
David has worked in the manufacturing sector has included executive positions with Chrysler and Aston Martin. As well as work in the United Kingdom, David has travelled and worked abroad including both North America and the Far East and is a champion of British manufacturing and has been a keen supporter of British trade efforts with Europe and the rest of the world.
David is also an Export Ambassador to the Uk Government as well as Industrial Advisor to Coventry University Aerospace and Automotive Advanced Manufacturing Facility.
In January 2020, David appeared in a Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership in running a business and what key qualities are needed in order to achieve success. The discussion also included his outlook for the British manufacturing sector, trade, and what needs to be done by government to help the sector become more competitive.
