Christos Papaioannou is a leadership coach, senior humanitarian and independent strategy programme and funding consultant. He runs his own business, Coaching Labs, and is co-founder of the coaching collective, Positive Change Agents.
Career Overview
Before building his own leadership coaching business, Christos’ background lay in working on humanitarian projects in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America both on the ground and remotely.
Over a career spanning more than 20 years, Christos has headed teams within groups such as Start Network and Save the Children UK and led humanitarian programmes for CARE International UK and Médecins Sans Frontières [MSF]. He has also gained experience working in roles generating private donor and institutional funding for organisations such as Greenpeace and the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims [IRCT] in Brussels.
Education
Christos was educated at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in his native Greece, where he attained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2005. He later attended the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, where he completed a master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action.
Christos has also completed an ICF accredited diploma in transformational coaching with the Animas Centre for Coaching.
