Career Overview

As well as working in the tobacco industry, Chris is an established business leader in several sectors and disciplines including nuclear piping, product design, aerospace component design, oil and gas component design, plastics, castings, precision engineering and start-up product consultation.

Chris took on leadership of the Gawith Hoggarth tobacco business in 2019, and since 2016 has also owned a technical company based in Valais, Switzerland.

Between 2011 and 2017, Chris owned and ran product and mechanical design consultancy Xtreme Design based in Stirling, Scotland. He first cut his teeth in design engineering with Kannegiesser UK, working in their R&D department at their Kendal base.

Education

Chris studied at Lancaster University, where he completed a degree in Mechatronics.
