Anne Hudson is director of HR at the The United Westminster and Grey Coat Foundation, an education charity with its roots in the late-1500s, when influential individuals and families decided to establish Christian schools to support the poor of the parish.

Career Overview

Anne is a dynamic and strategic HR professional with experience in strategy, change management, transformation, leadership, coaching and development, and is well-versed in working with schools and academy trusts, charities and non-profit bodies. In her career, she has worked not only with The United Westminster and Grey Coat Foundation, but also The Good Shepherd Trust and Woodard Academies Trust in HR and OD related roles.  Her HR career also includes senior roles with local authorities in Slough and the London Borough of Sutton where she was instrumental in developing a workforce strategy for children and young people. She also led the national school workforce reform programme for Surrey schools, working closely with officers from the DfE and Training Development Agency.

From 2016 to 2019, Anne Chaired the National Multi Academy Trust HR Network and she regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on HR and education related topics.

Anne is a Trustee of the London City Mission and European Christian Mission International, using her HR professional expertise to support the work of both these charities.

Education

Anne has recently graduated with an MSc in People and OD, from the Roffey Park Institute and University of Sussex. Her dissertation explored the topic of Compassionate Leadership in Education.  She is a Fellow of the CIPD, and undertook her initial studies at Farnborough College of Technology.
