Andrew Simpson is the headteacher at Arundel Church of England Primary School, a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School in Arundel.

Career Overview

Andrew has been at Arundel CE Primary School as a teacher since September 2004. He took on the headship in 2009 and has remained at the helm ever since.

Under Andrew’s leadership, the school has been recognised as a “good” education provider by Ofsted, and has been judged “outstanding” by SIAMS since 2010.

As a Christian school, Andrew strives to ensure the school promotes a Christian understanding of the world and the place of humanity within it, reflected in worship and the daily life of the pupils. It also celebrates the cultural richness of the historical town it is located in, at the heart of the South Downs.
