Teresa Jennings is the chief executive at N-Compass, a health and care charity that helps over 30,000 people each year stay well, through the provision of Carers, Counselling, Wellbeing and Advocacy Services across the North of England.
Career Overview
Teresa became chief executive at N-Compass in 2015 and occupies other leading roles alongside including a non-executive director role with One Fylde, and a role on the board of One Rochdale Health & Care. Teresa also works as a regional advisory committee member for BBC Children in Need. She also spent six years as operations director for the Groundwork Trust, working across local towns such as Bolton, Bury, Oldham and Rochdale.
Teresa has previously spent a number of years working for ENCAMS in various roles, including becoming its national group director for housing. In the early 2000s, Teresa spent a year working for DEFRA, and between 2016 and 2019, she served as a governor of the Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.
In July 2020, Teresa appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing leadership and the impact it has had on her career to date.
