I am the co-founder and Managing Partner of Bell Howley Perrotton LLP.

We are not a firm of general practitioners, nor are we a firm of accountants.  We are a firm of specialist tax and legal advisers. That’s what we do and we do it well.  We have a very strong property practice, advising individual property investors and developers to well established property groups.

We excel in all matters of private client work, from drafting robust Wills and lasting power of attorneys, to advising on complex trust matters, estate and inheritance tax planning to the creation of tax efficient family investment company structures.

Career Overview

25 + years of experience working within City law firms and accountancy practices, specialising in taxation.

Professional Qualifications

I am a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Federation of Tax Advisers, Institute of Financial Accountants and the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia).

Property Taxes Sub Committee

I currently sit on the Property Taxes Sub Committee of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Technical Policy and Oversight Committee.  The sub-committees are all heavily involved in consultation with Government, in public and in private, on proposed tax legislation. An important example of this is the thorough line-by-line review in limited time while the Finance Bill is before Parliament. Weaknesses and anomalies in legislation and drafting are identified and representations are made appropriately.

Freeman of the City of London

I am also a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers in the City of London.
