Jock Alexander OBE is the chief executive of Navy Wings, charity headquartered in Somerset which is committed to preserving and flying historic British naval aircraft.
Career Overview
Alexander spent 38 years in the Royal Navy, initially as a seaman officer and ship’s diver before becoming a pilot in 1984, proceeding to spend the next 32 years in the Fleet Air Arm.
Navy Wings was established in 1993, with a mission to preserve and champion the heritage of naval aircraft.
In June 2020, Alexander appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.
