Adam Lakeland is a director at Pro Sport Coaching Ltd, a company providing high quality sports provision to schools and nurseries throughout Lancashire, and is the current first-team manager of Farsley Celtic Football Club.

Career Overview

Lakeland has worked with Pro Sport Coaching since 2006, and has also since embarked on a coaching career in the non-league football scene after gaining a UEFA A License.

As well as being head of men's football at Runshaw College, Lakeland has worked as an academy coach at Blackburn Rovers FC and managed both Blackburn Rovers Ladies FC and Northwich Victoria FC, guiding the latter to a play-off final and cup final. He has also worked as a first-team coach at Curzon Ashton, helping the club to back-to-back promotions between 2013 and 2015 as the club reached the National League North. 

After joining Farsley in 2017, Lakeland secured another promotion for his CV to take the West Yorkshire side into the National League North division.

In March 2020, Lakeland appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of effective leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.
